Christian Science Nurses Training

Next Level 1 Class begins February 5, 2024 at The Leaves

The Leaves offers Christian Science nursing education and training as an integral part of our Christian Science nursing services. It is based on the Christian Science Nursing Arts (CSNA) training program in partnership with Chestnut Hill Benevolent Association. This is an avenue of support for “class taught” members of The Mother Church as they prepare themselves to meet the requirements set forth in the Church Manual By-law, Christian Science Nurse. CSNA training helps develop a readiness to serve the Christian Science field.

Admittance to our CSNA training program is based upon a written application and an interview process.

The core training program consists of course work and mentoring, as follows:

Christian Science Nursing Arts I (Introductory C.S. Nursing Arts)
  • Classroom: 4 weeks at The Leaves

  • Mentoring: at least 6 weeks mentoring by an experienced Journal-listed Christian Science nurse mentor at The Leaves

Christian Science Nursing Arts II (Basic Nursing Arts)

  • Classroom: 5 weeks may be available at The Leaves

  • Mentoring: usually 7-10 months of mentoring by an experienced Journal-listed Christian Science nurse mentor at The Leaves

Christian Science Nursing Arts III (Advanced Nursing Arts)

  • Classroom: 5 weeks at Chestnut Hill

Christian Science Nursing Arts IV (Supervisory Nursing Arts)
