Healed after bike accident

“Several years ago I was in traffic on my bicycle in the left turn lane. When the light turned green I was in a hurry to make the turn and get out of the rush hour traffic, but when I thought the traffic started I looked down to get my foot re-attached to the pedal and when I looked up the truck in front of me had not moved. I was crashed into the truck face first and was knocked off the bike. It took me while to get up and out of traffic and I was disoriented. Also, I looked pretty bad and was bleeding a lot. Meantime, someone called 911 and and ambulance, a fire truck and two squad cars showed up to help. The EMT's were very nice and helped me clean up a bit but I refused a trip to the hospital and called my wife to come get me. They warned me that I would need professional help.

I asked Jane to take me to the Leaves for that help and the Christian Science nurses there were wonderful. They were not at all impressed by the situation or the physical condition. They applied some fairly significant bandages and got me cleaned up. Their calm, peaceful demeanor was a real help.

My focus was that God is omnipresent and omnipotent so there could never be an instant where He is out of control and since I was governed by Him, I could never be hurt of have an "accident".

Several days later I needed to return to the Leaves to have bandages removed and I have to admit that I was dreading that. But the Christian Science nurses were absolutely professional. There was never any pain at all in making the change. Just gentle, professional care.

It was some days before the evidence of the healing was complete, but divine Love prevailed, as it always does and the help provided me by the Leaves was invaluable and of the highest quality and loving care.
